i just did a nand restore and tried to run titanium backup but it keeps getting hung up, this time its been stuck at 42% for several minutes. should i just end process and try again?

i just stopped it at 42%...everything seems to have been restored from the nandroid restore. so i guess titanium is just to be used when your loading a custom rom and not a rom you have backed up?

The nandroid backup should have all your apps, settings, data, etc backed up. So when you do a nandroid restore those will automatically be put back where they need to be. Titanium backup is for restoring apps, settings, etc when flashing a new rom.

I just flashed a new ROM and when I did a restore from Titanium, it put back all my apps but they did not show up in the Market under downloads? Does that mean I will not be able to receive any future updates for them if the market does not see them as installed? Thanks

Apps are tied to your google account, so you should be fine.
