Help transferring "protected content" music files

ok so i figured out y some music from my library on my PC wouldnt transfer to my droid, they're "protected content" tried dbl twist, i atleast got the name of the song/album/artist on my droid but no music, WTF! anyone get around this problem? dont have an ipod or itunes but i was thinkin if i DL itunes will it convert all my music to mp3 then i can mayb use itunes agent to transfer to the droid? this is such crap & almost makes me wanna return this droid which is way slow on the net & has a spec of dust under the glass already after a wk(my razr was a dust collector, mayb its a motorola thing, u think they could fig this out)& get the iphone
