Slugs custom ringtones/alarms/notifications method has worked since August last year, I've just upgraded to ROM Version:2.73.61.66 for Orange, since then :-
My alarm sound still works.
Ringtones show in the select menu, but fail to work until you revert to the old method Play/select/use as ringtone, now they work.
Notifications fail to work at all, they show and play in the select menu but trying to use them all you get is a bleat, go back into the select menu and the custom tone is still selected and still plays.
