Accessories Vibrant tvout wont work

My tvout wont work on my samsung vibrant and I dont know why. Ive bought multiple different av cables for it, the most recent being the av cord for the galaxy i9000 tablet as I heard that it works good. Needless to say it didnt work for me. Ive tried a regular camera av cord as well with no luck. Ive tried hooking yellow to yellow, red to yellow and even white to yellow. Now the weird thing is I get a scrambled picture no matter which way I plug it in so I dont know if its supposed to be a rgb composite signal or what. ive heard these cords would work and I dont know what else to try so any help would b greatly appreciated I have droid 2.2 if that helps

Your tv might be the deciding factor. I have a tv in the bedroom where it doesn't work well at all. And our living room tv it works just fine. You might try and see if you can find a friend with a tv that will be willing to let you test out all your cables on.
