Want a better looking battery cover

I was wondering if there was a way to get a battery cover for my galaxy s that is not plastic. Iphone 4 looks way better than my galaxy s. I think a nice metal back would do the trick.

These are just cases, I think the op is refering to a replacment back plate. I too would be interested as the one that it has as standard is very cheap and nasty.

Try looking for the casemate barely there cover.
It comes in a polished silver look and hardly adds anything to the phone.
Although not a battery cover it is a part clip case which covers the back of the phone with full access to the ports on the phone but does not go round as far as the screen area. I have found it very secure and had a few iphone lovers sitting with some jealous looks on their faces

There's a half a year old thread on XDA about replacement back covers. So far, none has been found. Some people has resorted to taping the cover with carbon fibre instead.
