Ways to browse and use less data?

Hey guys,

I just took a position where I have a tablet whose sole purpose is to provide the hotspot to power the phone. I have no computer.

I powered up the Tablet today, and for this billing cycle (I am halfway through, it hasn't been used until yesterday) it has about 180 MB used. About 100 of it is the phone, and I used the 80 today on the internet. (No videos, just some facebook and email and 1 app download.)

I have a 2 GB limit. How can I browse and keep it under 2GB?

Also, what is Verizon's charge, per GB (or is it MB) if you go over their 2GB?

Thanks.

Jeremy

You can also use other browsers to gain accelerated options. Mozilla just came out with firefox for android, and knowing them they kept the :config options that Mozilla has standard so you can set buffer length, image quality, precache, etc.

Opera Mini (for java) has a few of these options as well.
