What AT&T charges for upgrade apart from phone cost (Like upgrade fee, activation fee, etc). Can we get these waived ?

I just got my Atrix for $99.99 from the AT&T Store here in Center City Philadelphia. I had $99.99 upgrade advantage and went for the 2 year upgrade plan (with note taken of the 30 day trial stuff). 199.99-99.99=100.00 I only paid an $18.00 fee for the upgrade plus tax. I also picked up an otterbox defender for 49.99. I walked out the door with all for $161.98.
