I have the factory unlocked version and I notice when I'm on data and/or roaming, I get little letters that flash in the notification bar under the data notification icon. Sometimes it's H, or the letter E. Do these translate to 3G, EDGE etc? I'm not sure if this is telling me the connection speed or something completely different.
