I was just speculating on the new Nexus and thinking that I was still very happy with my Galaxy Nexus. In the past, after a year I'm usually itching for an upgrade because the latest-and-greatest devices are substantially better than what I have.
I tried a Galaxy S III and wasn't that impressed. Ended up selling it. Jelly Bean on my GNex made it feel like a new phone.
For me, a substantially better battery life in the same profile might do it. This phone lasts a "normal" amount of time for me - have to charge it every night. That's been the same as every other smartphone I've owned. If they could pack a 3300 or 3500 mAh battery in there like the Razr Maxx, though, without changing the size of the phone much, I'd be very tempted.
Reception isn't tremendous, but it's very decent everywhere I've visited, so I don't think an improvement in that alone would get me to upgrade.
So: what would it take on the new Nexus to get you to upgrade? Will you even consider it?
