Whitney Houston Dead

I didn't watch the funeral, but I take it the whole Bobby Brown scene didn't take away from the funeral? I heard he tried to seat his entire entourage together up close, and was eventually asked to leave. Typical behavior of an egomaniac I guess.

Yep, typical Bobby Brown. But Ive read several reports where both could be true: he arrived at the funeral in the church before the Houston family was there and seated. Ive read first, what youve posted, then, a few minutes later there was another article stating he was there with only his other children...either case, like you said, he and his accompanyment was asked to move to another seat when the family arrived and were ready to be escorted in and seated.

And you are right, he didnt take away Whitney's moment.

I'm not sure why he expected his entourage to be seated near the front. Even if he was still with Whitney, I'm sure Whitney would want her family and friends closer to her than some hired muscle. Considering he had a concert the night that she passed, and instead of him deciding to cancel the show, I'm surprised they actually let him come to the funeral.

I thought the same..his bringing a group that weren't on the invitation list, disregardimg the family arrangements. And continuing with his concerts the day of her death and even the week of the funeral, doesnt seem too concerning of him

What finer and respectful way to wrap up a duscussion of one of the world's greatest singers that we have been priviledged to have lived at the same time than to watch the Opra Interview with Whitney Houston's Daughter.

If you havent done so, please , at your convenience and leisure, listen to how she describes her "mom"...its touching. They were an ordinary family despite the fame.

I cant help but think of a song by Paul Simon when I heard Kristina's heartwarming personal words about how she remembers and misses her mother.

This song says it all:

mother and child reunion by paul simon - YouTube
