Picked my Xperia X10 (black) up from Rogers Plus at Rideau Centre (Ottawa) last night after work. $149.99 on a 3yr contract hardware upgrade. Ran into a bit of trouble with it not recognizing my 4yo SIM card, and had to go back to the store to get a new SIM. Otherwise, it's working great. TimeScape is interesting, though I can't see myself using it that much. I prefer dedicated Facebook and Twitter apps that are more fully-functional, but it is a neat way to compile data. MediaScape on the other hand is a great media player. My experience with Android is limited, but it's far better of a music player than anything I came across under Windows Mobile, and seems on-par with the iPhone player. The screen is lovely and works very well. A bit less sensitive along the left side of the screen it seems, but not so much that it's problematic. The default keyboard seemed fine, though I quickly installed both the HTC keyboard and Swype and have been enjoying those. Overall the device is fast and very responsive. No issues yet.
