Help Why can't I send audio files over a text message like before???

I came to the GN from the HTC Incredible and I've been converting some mp3 files into AMR files for sending through text messages (as MMS I presume). When I had my incredible anytime I was in a text message I just clicked the attach button and it would ask if I wanted to attach a picture, audio file, etc... Now with the Galaxy Nexus it only has the option to attach a picture, video, or record audio (NOT any audio in your music folder but something you record with the phone's mic).
I find it hard to believe that the galaxy doesn't have that capability? Any ideas on how I can send AMR audio files? (They are about 125 kb in size so size is definitely not the issue). Thanks!

Dont have GN yet, but i think you could just download "go SMS" or "Handcent SMS" and you will be able to do what you are trying to do.
