So i've recently updated to Froyo 2.2 on my acclaim to (hopefully) fix other issues I was having. And after a lot of searching and not finding anything, i'm wondering if anyone has found a way to force the acclaim with 2.2 to keep the mobile network active while connected to a wifi.
Or at the very least have it enabled when needed for MMS.
I sit at home and I leave the wifi up for pandora and anything else I use data for at home, but I text (a lot) thus far 1000+ messages in the last two weeks or so, and rather often a friend of mine ends up typing too much and sends me long text mms messages when i'm not expecting them.
So it's a pain in the butt to get an mms, and have to either tell him to send it in parts, or go switch off the wifi to get the message to go back and turn it back on to keep my data use at home low...
So? Any takers?
