Issue:

Hi all!

My phone crashed massively the other day after going with me for a long, cold ski trip. I noticed a little moisture on the phone when I took it out of my pocket. Not good, I know. The power button did not work, so I removed the battery. I was not able to turn it back on and it stayed dead for 24h (moisture maybe). When I finally got it turned on, it was not booting so I did a nandroid restore. I discovered the Wifi Error. Then I cleared all storages/caches and did a clean flash of the current ROM. Wifi still not working. Tries to turn on, but after 10 seconds just shows "Error". I thought this was a hardware malfunction until I ran Alogcat:

E/WifiService( 516): Failed to load Wi-Fi driver.

This line makes me think that the wifi still might be recoverable if I can restore the driver!

I have no idea what to try next, so all suggestions are highly appreciated as the phone eats both battery and my data plan on 3G!

Thanks!
