Will the unlocked HTC aria update make it lock again

i have HTC aria which has been unlocked to use in India... now there is new update for HTC aria... so if i update my phone will it get locked... does anyone face same problem... can you please help me out... thanks in advance

Normally ROM updates do not affect the unlocked status of a phone. Even if for some reason it gets locked, you simply have to re-enter the unlock code and your in business.

The lock code you purchased is tied to your phone, so you can reuse it over and over again. No need to purchase a new one.
