They Don't All Blow Up When They Are Dropped..

Dropped the EVO today 4 feet to a hardwood floor and nothing at all happened to it. It was in a case and has a zagg screen sheet on it. It did sound like dropping a bowling ball when it hit that floor.

Yeah i have droped mine twice already with no case, just got com scratches on the corners. Scared the hell out of me though.

my dad dropped his on a tile floor in his entry way. he also has a zagg full body cover and no case. not a scratch or crack on her!

My naked evo was dropped on concrete/asphalt from about 3-4 feet and all i got was an ugly "mark" on the corner of my evo. (drop was a complete accident caused by someone else while the phone was on an outdoor table)

Dropped the evo on my first day with it and the screen got like 10 scratches. That Scared the hell out of me. then i noticed thAt on the corner of the evo, their was plastic peeling off. found out it was a crappy screen protecter that radio shack put on for me.

I dropped mine naked the second day of ownership on top of my shoe and then it rolled onto my concrete driveway. two scratches on lower left hand corner and upper right hand corner on the black shinny bezel but no damage to the screen.

bezel should have been rubber, imo. still pretty proud of my EVO's manliness

I have dropped mine at least three times so far. And I don't use a case or screen protector. Only damage so far is a very small scratch on the screen. Not even noticeable to me anymore

I have to drop mine. Unfortunately, my screen was scratched by a grain of sand left in my pants from a visit to the beach

At the rate I go through phones, who has time to worry about a little scratch here and there.. Shattering it on the other hand, worries me. Lack of camera protection does too, so that is why I bought the Seidio Active Case. Awesome case!

1st drop today, from waist high onto concrete. Thankfully it was in it's leather case (and had a screen protector). I had a moment heart in throat moment, but looked at it and all was fine. phew!

Mine had a 2 foot drop one night when someone was pounding on my front door at 3am and out of a deep sleep, i grabbed my phone instead of my pistol. The charging cable got caught on the corner of the bed and my phone went flying the opposite direction. I was like FAAWWWKKKk... Needless to say this enraged me even more.

my evo only has one 'oh noes!!' altercation. was using it sitting on my sons bed while we watched Yo Gabba Gabba! and he threw his hands up in excitement(he's 2) and it knocked it clean out of my hand, 6" into the wall..and it slid down the wall between it and his bed...i was like "NOOOOOO" but...not a single scratch or mark on the phone or screen.

in fact when i'm charging it i have the charging cable coiled up and place the phone on top of the cord so that it isn't touching the counter or desk. it is usually in my pocket or on the sofa.

My 2 almost 3 next month y/o droped mine while using Toddler Lock (Great ap if you have young ones!!!) and it got a small crack in the side of the phone above the volume buttons but no other damage!!! I am one to get upset at stuff like this but I was very good and didn't fuss at him or anything I just dont let him hold it by himself when he "colors" on it any more. O yeah a few days before while we were in bed he wanted to "color daddy's phone" so I loaded toddler lock for him. Looked over a few min later and he was using a REAL crayon...AHHHHH but it all came off nice I told him he can ONLY use his finger no crayons...LOL but all is good now. I am going to get a full body ZAGG kit and also an otter box when they finally release it... wish they would hurry but I also want a great product. Also sucks being in Alaska nobody sells anything for this phone here Best Buy wont even order stuff for me makes me angery. And our Radio shacks are only Radio Shack dealers that deal with ATT only...BOOOO Okay done ranting...LOL

I'm getting my evo today and I'm going to try it naked for a bit and see how it goes. I did order the seidio spring holster and slim extended battery which I'm getting today as well. One thing I am going to try is to cover the camera lense with an extra screen cover I have for my pre. Just have to find a way to cut the circle out perfectly.

How cute, enjoy every minute of him and the crayons and the little messes, he will be 16 and denting the car before you know it they grow up so so fast.
