Are you being serious or trolling? The very fact that this fake topic is the only source for a very poot attempt at blog journalism only reinforces the idea that this is all BS. Froyo will not come to the dinc soon. Soon being within the next 30 days.

If by soon you mean something else then you are doin it wrong.

The HTC dude did not say anything about 720p or hotspots. He told me the main reason for the update was to fix/improve:

1. Garbled call quality
2. Phone reception
3. Signal bar accuracy

I would have thought he would mention at least the hotspot feature.... Then again, my call was in regards to the garbled sound when listening to calls. He brought up the other things anyways.

BTW, the 65nm Snapdragon is not exactly the best chipset for 720p. Even with decent drivers, something has to be compromised to make it work, so pick your setting to drop:

1. Framerate
2. Resolution (defeats 720p point, of course)
3. Bit rate

Even the newer 3630 45nm chipset is not exactly going to trick people in thinking the output is not coming from a phone. Form factor and heat are the current enemies of these devices. By default, form factor always will be.

Little birdie told me about verizon talking about releasing froyo soon but before that an ota for 720p video and 3g hot spot. Just telling you what I heard from verizon/htc... that a birdie overheard

EDIT: HTC first to get froyo, mobile hot spot is $20 a month

If your already paying for tethering, is it another $20 for host spot?
