anyone out there with an itunes account that has an active credit card, best change your payment preferences to 'none'.

All this really did was raise questions about the Android store.
Suppose someone got my gmail information and logged in.
Then, they proceeded to buy all sorts of apps and download them to that handset.
Now, I am also logged in on my phone and presumably they will show up in my market as paid apps.

I never downloaded them to my handset, and there is a handset out there with my login information which I can simply change - does it render the apps on that handset useless?
Can I then return the apps not downloaded on my handset?

I like Google's policy regarding returns... you can return it within 24 hours, something you cannot do in Apple's store from what I understand.

Keep your signon information private, and your good.

If you let someone get your sign on information, then handle it as if someone stole your credit card number.

That will work fine.

This is entirely different than someone hacking an iTunes account. You can change your information on your account, but as long as the hackers have access to your iTunes account, you are screwed. I don't know what it takes to get a new iTunes account.
