Root Theme Request - Galaxy S

So checking over at XDA Forums showed that there was a theme that had been released with the Galaxy S theme which I thought was pretty sexy.

Unfortunately someone had reported that they lost root after flashing the theme.

Can anyone confirm this or does anyone know where I can get a theme that looks like it?

If not is anyone willing to make one? Will donate. Thanks.

I would say to install the theme itself and not the ROM. He has a seperate link for the theme and one for the ROM. Looking at the framework, it looks like it's designed for ROMs built from source. CM6 maybe Sapphire, I'mma confirm that in a few....

Tried the theme and it worked ok on Sapphire 0.7.0. The framework is a bit messed up as far as the lock screen and a few things in the notification bar goes. It does look like the little ninja is gone, but luckily I did a nandroid back-up. This is still in the Alpha state, still has Beta to go. There's a lot of work that needs to be done to it. The theme is a great idea, I'm even a fan of it, but it's nowhere near ready now. Restoring now....

Thanks for trying it. Still new to the themes portion. Quick question... can you put a theme on any type of ROM or are themes specific to certain ROMS? I'm running BB now and was running Kangerade before but wasn't sure if the Galaxy theme would have worked on either since the theme seemed to be pretty specific to CM

Certain themes do work on certain roms. Running BB and using Kangerade themes will work. Just copying the framework from kangerade to BB will work. However it's a lil different when dealing with roms built from source. Roms built from source have way more files within the framework. Just read the description when dealing with roms. They'll tell you whether or not they're built from source. Pete never makes his roms from source. Developers like Cyanogen and Sapphire also JRummy have roms built from source. Those roms have their own themes. They won't work with roms that are built from leaked releases and so on.
