CarDock v2 Theme

I played around with CarDock v2 a while ago, and forgot about it. But when preparing for an upcoming trip, I decided to give it a second look. My biggest beef with the application was the appearance of basically ANY icons I wanted to place. Being a graphic designer, I decided to rectify the situation. And below is the minor fruits of my labor.

If there is a desire, I will package up everything into a theme. I can even include the Photoshop psds to build the destination / contact icons. All of the icons are 256x256px.

I decided to just go ahead and post the theme. All of the icons are included except for the specific destinations & contacts. Photoshop Psds are included to make your own!

To install, unzip the file into the root directory of the sdcard. All of the individual .PNG files should be in the ig88carhome directory. Personally, to reduce file size, I would remove the Photoshop file after unzipping it to the card.

They're specific to my location. They are on their own separate layer in the Photoshop PSD so they could be customized to your need. I've also included an Interstate Sign as well.

After using my theme over the weekend, I decided I should come up with a 'Night' mode, so that it didn't blind me. You can Download Highway-Night Here. NOTE: These will appear very dark during the day, but at night work great for me.

I've also modified 2 widgets to appear wonderfully in Car Dock v2. (right most graphics):

Curve Fish's GPS ON/OFF Widget & Daniel Velazco's LED Hack. Download them by clicking on their appropriate links.

PLEASE NOTE: I DID NOT CREATE THESE WIDGETS, JUST CREATED LARGE 256x256 GRAPHICS FOR THEM.

Great Job man, really looks good. I dont like the Car Home Mode very much but this makes it a lot more attractive.

Hello, it would be cool to have a bunch of themes pop up for Car Dock v2.

I'm working on one and thought I would share it. I'm having trouble getting a direct link to the GPS toggle on / off - anyone know how to do this? I have a widget, but it's small and I can't seem to change the widgets icon.

Anyway - here it is, I'll zip it up when I'm done with it:

I just got my Droid X about 2 days ago. And noticed that the default Car Dock just didnt have anything on what my HTC Incredible had. After endless searching online i didnt find anything that looked like the HTC. So i decided to make my own with a similar look to the HTC but with some changes. The X isnt rooted YET so i took the screenshots with the the HTC.

is there any way of accessing the My Location app because in the orginal car dock app i like how it shows when ur going N, S, E, W

how can i put that on this?
