Heh ... sound a lot like me. I really have no need for it. It is just a gimmick to me. I can see where people would use it but being that I do not have many people that would want to video call. Also, I am just to lazy to have to hold the camera in a set position to keep my face visible in the frame.
I have used it to take a few self pics but other than that I have not needed it.
Still, many people must be using to bring down Fring's support of Skype.
It's good for people who take a lot of "self" Myspace-like shots... lol. But it is good when you are with someone and you want to take a picture of yourselves. That's a great feature to have at that time.
Ditto, and like the other guy said I barely want to talk to anyone let alone see them. And I really don't want to fiddle with a camera and speaker phone to make a call.
There is a switch in the Camera/Camcorder settings to switch to Front facing camera (secondary) to use it.
There is also an app called Mirror 4 EVO that has a stand alone icon to access the Secondary camera without having to switch the setting in the stock camera app. It has limited setting and only uses the setting last used with the camera. It also does not have camcorder functionality. Pictures only at the moment.
