Help Can't attach video to email

When I attempt to attach something to an email (using Gmail) I only get the option to attach photos. Can anyone else attach video or is it just me? However, when texting I get the option to attach video or photo.

i usually view the video via the 'gallery' - hold down on the video you want to send > share > gmail... and it'll attach.

i haven't figured out why you can't straight out of gmail yet either...

The few videos I have say they are too big to attach
