It was yesterday or maybe day before?
Info on my phone:

Build number: 2.37.605.4 CL185970 release-keys
Software number: 2.37.605.4

Dialing ##778, I get following info in view mode/display:

Manufacturer's Date: 10/22/2009
Activation Date: no data
Warranty Date Code: 7/12/2009 17:43
(Saw on another thread this is supposed to the the "one year" date for manufacture warranty - that's rich, since this is months PRIOR to it even being built!

PROBLEM TRACKING:
Before any updates (when I got phone til that first update):
No problems at all, I loved it, adored it.
After first update:
Camera focus sucked air
Screen goes blank after making/getting call - then all buttons and screen freeze so I can't end call; must wait for other person to hang up.
Occasionally too slow to respond when answering, so I missed calls.
Sometimes wouldn't ring, so I totally missed a call - but could call back shortly after, sometimes immediately.
After this update:
Camera focus sucks worse, if that were even possible.
Screen STILL goes blank after making/getting call. It is marginally better in that if I put it far away from my body, holding it like it were a dead rat, it will take about 30-60 seconds for the screen to "wake up" and buttons to function allowing me to end call. Good for when I am leaving a message - otherwise the other person has typically hung up by then.
VERY first call, I got the silent treatment. I NEVER had this problem until the most recent update. Yeah, can you hear me now??? NO, apparently not. Twits.
Hard reset did not work the "recommended way". Am currently in process of doing it the "privacy route" way.
I'm pissed beyond belief. I've been with them for years. My DH's company has a corporate discount program thingy with them - and their HR department goes all activist if you have some issue with one of their participants. I'll raise uproar there if VW can't handle it quickly on their own.
OH - No rooting (not yet technically savvy enough, although I get practically certified if that's what it takes to fix the POS - which is almost blasphemous saying, since I used to be in love with it).
