You want people to donate so you can get a phone? This is kinda sad. Get a job and stop being lazy. Sorry if its harsh but people aren't going to help you if you are being lazy like that.
Babysit, mow grass, paint mailboxes, wash cars, tudor...you can easily get the money if you put a little work into it.
I got mine for free from vzw. All you have to do is bitch to them that your current phone is not working correctly and you want to try out an X to see if you have better signal. It really works great if you have a different brand phone now. That way you can tell them that your buddies moto x works in your house and your blah blah blah phone doesnt. I got a free droid, then incredible and now X this way. I literally have not paid a dime out. Not to mention, they also do it even though I was no where near upgrade. And Im going to do it again when the next one comes out.
Your mom is trying to teach you that stuff aint free.........and you aren't going to learn that by yet someone else footing the bill. You gotta work for it. Get to work stop begging.
Ok first of all i said "IF you want to donate" not "PLEASE DONATE IM SO DESPERATE!!!!!"....And then i asked for suggestions of work, and i know nothing is free in this world and i appreciate my mom is teaching me this....If i was older and could actually get a job somewhere other than Publix i would be glad to...and for all those non-troll people thanks for your answer.
And what's wrong with Publix? You thinking you are going to work in healthcare right off? Get baggin and after 1-2 days you will have enough money...Then quit if you want.

I've already looked at all local Publixs and non have openings, considering its summer i'm pretty sure there is many more kids looking for a job there as well.
Yeah, you never want to deal with shipping stuff through craigslist. Shady stuff can go on if you do.
I always meet at a "halfway" meeting spot and meet somewhere public. I've done many alone, but had a few friends go along for different ones. Never meet at someones house.
A Learn C on the Mac when i was trying to learn how to develop iPhone apps and a Blackberry storm case, since thats my phone now and its horrid. Thanks =) for the good luck.
mxsjw - Where you at?...I have a huge yard that needs some TLC and a truck that needs a good detail.
Kids today...damn...I would NEVER ask for anything like this in a million years.
Go door to door and ask people if they need yardwork done or any help with anything. Or else check craiglist. There's a "labor" section that you can help with small things around the house for people or else help people move.
Don't be part of the problem with society...be a part of the solution and go after something if you want it. Life ain't easy and you have to WORK for something that you WANT to have

The funny thing is i didn't actually ask her to match my amount, she decided she would....But when my mom says she's going to get me something expensive i actually feel bad and say you don't have to but she wants to...
Instant gratification is whats common in this new generation. I grew up in the 90s and we were so siked about earning money through lemonade stands and such. I fear my country's sake ever more with these kids soon growing up to adults.
