Root Flash/froyo

Based on my research it does have flash lite preinstalled but not full flash 10.1. That will come with Froyo which is slated to be an OTA update for us.

I haven't used froyo but I can say I've seen a few videos of the browser in action with froyo on a Nexus one. It kept up with and occasionally beat the iPhone 4 while rendering the flash elements that the iPhone just ignored. The nexus specs are lower than the vibrants so I'm gonna guess its going to absolutely fly.

Here's a link to the article that has the videos embedded.

Cyanogenmod is working on Froyo for the Galaxy S phones.... Since the source code was released a while back, they can properly build a 2.2 Froyo ROM for these phones....

There are pros and cons to having flash. Sure, it gives us the full browsing experience and then some, but keep in mind that you will now see all of the annoying ads on websites.

Hmm... good call!

I just miss out on a lot of stuff when surfing the web with out flash! I made a thread about trancearoundtheworld.com .. I listen to that daily but now on my new vibrant i can't b/c it takes flash for the player to work. im heart broken
