Has anyone heard anything new regarding the ability to use paypal instead of google checkout for market purchases? I searched and read a few posts mentioning at it was coming 'soon' but that was in early May and haven't seen anything since. Iam trying to avoid having ANOTHER online account.

There are many reasons for me to stay 'yesteryear' though. Example being privacy conscious and not to mention the ease of using paypal balances. If I sell something on eBay, receive payment and then can purchase apps with the funds, it prevents me ever having to even have a transaction to a cc or debit card. Paypal also offers great dispute services

To each their own, I started with google check out, so it is just easier for me, though I have an PP account for purchases such as launcher pro plus

I use to use paypal a lot and have used there disputes to my benefit a few times.I recently sold a few items on ebay and after ebays listing fee then selling fee and paypals fee and shipping it just wasn't worth it.I believe paypal and ebay charge way too much for there service. So far goggle checkout has been far superior but I have yet to be charged for there service.

Thank you everyone for your input, I am not trying to convince anyone that one is better than the other or want to debate the merits of why anyone should choose google checkout over pay pal etc. I am simply asking if anyone has gotten any new information around the topic.

I heard that Google is in the works to implementing a "pay later" option to the Market, which will just charge the amount to your cell phone bill, as opposed to paying through Google Checkout. Haven't heard anything about PayPal though.

If they do this "pay later" thing wouldn't the whole refund idea be thrown out the door? What if you did this and you HATED the app/game and wanted to refund it? I personally would be p!ssed off if I got an app that I hated and it wouldn't allow me to refund it. But that is my opinion.
