Hello everyone.
I'm not sure if this has been a problem for anyone else, or if it's just something wrong with my settings, but lately my friend on sprint has been complaining that alot of times I'm sending the text twice when clearly I'm not.
not sure what the problem with the texting could be, it's been happening alot now apparently but sometimes not with other people.
-could there be some sort of overload in my inbox that causes this?
-i was also thinking that maybe this could be caused by pressing the Return button rather then touching the Send button on the screen..no clue though.
any help is appreciated thanks!

I think this is a carrier issue. I had this happen to me a few weeks ago with an iPhone using friend, while using the stock messaging app, so that rules out 3rd party apps.

Previous to the Droid, I've also had issues sending MMS to AT&T users too, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what it just turned out to be.

There's been a lot of sms/mms issues on ATT over the last few weeks. I see the angry iphone owners every time I go to my best buy, there's at least 2-3 there complaining about their sent txt not being received by other iphone owners.

OP, are you sending txt to ATT subscribers?

I will confirm that I have this problem using the Google voice app on the Droid. Every sms I send from the landscape format - goes out as a double post (I see it on my Droid too). When I switch to portrait orientation - the double posts stop... sounds like a bug with the Google voice app.

I just started noticing this today....but you say it stops in portrait? I guess this will work for now. Anyone else seeing this or heard of any other workarounds?
