Help USB mode - not connecting?

Im having trouble getting the USB cable to allow me to do media share on the computer to add ringtones from the PC. What gives?!

Change ur usb setting on ur phone.

Ive changed it to PC mode, USB Mass storage, nothing fixes it. I SOMETIMES get a e: removeable disk, but if I try to place anything there it says its missing.
Also, Where is that setting? I cant find it unless i stumble on it

Reboot your phone. The doc app will sometimes cause it not to work properly. Also, you can kill the task, but a reboot seems to work just as well.

Rebooting the phone works for me every time.
