Help Skype!! GAAAAAHHHH!!!

It's the android system that is opening it ( all of the bloatware are actually installed as system applications BTW. Hence why they are virtually impossible to get rid of. )

BTW: DO NOT TRY TO CLOSE ANY OF THEM! As you noticed, they will simply reappear. If you leave them alone, they will not use your CPU at all, but if you close them you used CPU to do that, plus they will use the CPU while they start up. ATT the only choice is to ignore: CityID, MyVerizon, VZNavigator, Skype, etc.

Also, with Froyo you REALLY shouldn't be using a task killer. If you do have app problems, you need to get help here to find the cause and fix it ( usually uninstalling the offending app, which sometimes can be reinstalled, sometimes not depending on the app itself. )

I have over 200 apps..... froyo flies and my battery is lasting longer because I dont have a task killer and I dont obsess over battery and speed.

Folks, download what you want, use what you want and forget the rest.... I bet you will find speed better and battery longer.

Rubbish!

My htc wildfire S lasted 5 days when I first bought it. Installed just half a dozen apps and now, leaving it alone and not using a task killer, I'm lucky if I get one full day without recharging.

Crap crap crap, I'll never have another HTC when this contract ends and I'll never have another sly Android phone either.
