Woohoo!!! Welcome back Brokeoutangel :D Missed you man! lol Well good to hear that it was only work that kept you away and that you weren't in any dire accidents! Gosh, you must have been really busy not to even leave a post saying that you'd be MIA :p

You can have your thread back!! haha

I started organizing the list by hiding each grouping. Not sure if you know, but in the message tool bar, at the very left there is this Hide symbol
h.jpg
It will wrap the message you want hidden. I started putting QC codes for each app and adding a link to the name.

Hopefully you're not as busy with work and can be an active member again!

Cheers,
-Roze-

P.S. have fun going through NiekKrikke's list :D

I've been through the thread and not noticed any mention of Goggles which I have on my SD card (well actually about half of it's on the SD card!).

Steve.

Well it's a member's running list, so it won't have all of the apps2SD list on the market. If you don't see an app you have to your SD on the list, please tell us what they are :)

one app that SHOULD BE is google maps, its freaking 8MB, c'mon google, get it together please.

Agree with that sentiment, similarly I'd add Google Earth. 30mb when I first installed it and so it came straight off the phone. I gather it can be moved to SD now but still takes up 15mb which is about half of the free space currently available on my Desire, so a definite no go. Certainly not many Google apps can be moved which seems odd, although there may well be logistical reasons. For example I use PodTrapper and Marcus, the dev, told me that he couldn't add move to SD onto that app for technical reasons that would badly affect functionality.

That was my intention Roze, to notify not to criticise an omission, although my wording may have suggested the latter, so apologies for that.

I did notice something recently on a Market comment about Goggles not being transferable to SD, so perhaps it's a recently added bit of functionality.

OK, NP :) I've added it to the list now ^_^

There's a slight bug with the Apps2SD feature of Froyo in that it doesn't allow apps with widgets to show up on the homescreen. So that's one reason why some apps don't do Apps2SD.

Twidroyd widgets don't work if you move the app to the SD card, but the app does. In the case of PodTrapper it's to do with how the podcast player saves 'casts etc as well as the widget issue, and for a sub 1mb app it's not worthwhile. Here's the detail as it was passed to me;

" it doesn't look like it's possible given how PodTrapper functions. Basically any time the SD card was turned to mass storage mode PodTrapper would immediately exit (without the ability to save the state) and the widget would be removed from your home screen. While I could do that and outline the issues with it, the size of PodTrapper (~400kb) means that it's not really worth it from a support perspective."

Following Jonhgalt's posting, I moved Adobe Flash Player 10.1 and Adobe Reader to SD card with no problems in usage.

I've also moved the following to SD card, using Titanium Restore, with no ill effects.

3G Watchdog

Advanced Bubble Level Pro

APKtor

biz.thorley.Currency

AdFree

Compass

fring

Nimbuzz

StopWatch & Timer

Truphone

Walkies

The only things that I wouldn't add to SD card are any app's that you wish, or need, to use and run when connected via USB to your computer as they will not be available in connection mode. i.e. Launcher Pro, Beautiful Wallpapers, Handcent, K-9 Mail, etc.
