Dear Community

Firstly thanks for all the useful information so far!
I can't believe this is my first question!

Anyways - I am looking for a list app which can be edited on my htc desire and..

- online (service?)

or

- on my desktop and sync it with dropbox

I have seen remember the milk and toodledoo - and these programs look fantastic, but they're far too powerful for my simple needs.

In the past I used Listpro on my windows mobile phone - but its not available on Android......yet :)

thanks for your feedback.

Hi John,
Any luck? I am also an ex Listpro user and I loved the app. I've been looking for a similar app for the android. Checkmark is great but no sync'ing to anything at all. Mmmm bummed! For now I'm using Evernote - has a host of features but the checklist option is tedious. You have to insert a checkbox manually for every item in your checklist. :(

Cloudlist is what I use for grocery shopping / todo lists.

About cloudList (Click on the "cloudList for Android" tab at the top of the page for a direct QR code.)

cloudList Home (Click this one to register for, or login to, cloudList online.)

cloudList on AppBrain

It's extremely easy to add/edit items online (first website up there), plus, if you choose to share a certain list with someone else (e.g., I share a "Grocery list" with my wife), when I go to the store, she can edit the list on her phone or online and it immediately syncs with my phone and sends me a notification on my phone that there are new items or changes made to the list. (It also shows what has been changed by highlighting first the name of the list that has been modified, then when you click that list, it highlights all items that have been changed/added, etc.)

May not be the 'best' todo or list app out there, but it is the best for what I use it for.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance!

I just use Google Tasks. There's a link to Tasks in Calendar and Gmail, and you can easily set up a homescreen bookmark link directly to mail.google.com/tasks/android?pli=1 not as "pretty" or configurable as an individual app, but works well.
