Welcome to the Droid 2 Lounge!


I thought it was time for the D2 community to have their lounge, similar to what many of the other forums have.
The Lounge is meant to be like a water cooler. We can talk off-topic, get to know other members, share our D2 stories, etc.
So if you have a question or comment that you didn't want to start a whole new thread for... post it here

My D2 story: I was at the Jets game on Sunday. I was with a few friends tailgaiting and throwing the football around. One of my friends decides to throw me a pass while my other friend was covering me. The pass was totally overthrown but the guy covering me still though it was necessary to push me down. I went down, slid across the parking lot and almost took out another groups tailgate. This all happened while my D2 was on my holster. So now it is all scratched up. Somehow the camera survived with a scratch about 1 mm away from the lens.
The moral of this story? Well there are two. Don't tackle people in a parking lot. Also, protect your phone! Especially when running around.

I just installed Fancy Widget on my Droid 2 and love it. I loved the look of the HTC sense clock and weather. Glad to have something to look the same.

The Jets are screwed know. Holmes is still suspended and Braylon will be soon enough. That leaves the Jets with only 3 wide receivers. So much for the big turn around.

As I'm sure most of you have noticed, there seems to be a bit of tension between some of the different forums. This isn't what AF wants and we hope that everyone can get along together! Subsequently, the decision has been made to close or move all of the "extra" lounge/water cooler threads and put them all in the Lounge. This will encourage all users to interact with each other just a little bit more, help calm the nerves when someone "new" shows up in the wrong forum and ultimately lead to a more helpful and friendly site for all of us!

Feel free to read and post throughout all of AF (yes, this includes the phones that you don't own) but please keep in mind that, as always, the Forum Rules will still apply regardless of where you post!

I wish there was an easier way root the d2, as i have the dx 2.2 and the update unrooted my 1 click root. I heart rooting was easy if you weren't previously 1 click rooted. I am. Oh well.
