With the latest updates to each respective SMS app now with the ability to turn off ads and such, which app do you use and why?

I currently have the vote toward HandCent SMS not having ads in the inbox window and only in the setting window.

Though I both hate how both now have the stupid + symbol next to the message composition window....anyone know how to disable it?

In case you didn't know, you can start typing the recipient's name in that box and it will pull up their name and numbers. Then just select which number you want. Quicker than hitting the + button and scrolling through all the contacts.

I meant the composition window, not the recipient window :p The older version I had didn't have the plus symbol next to it and I just don't like how it looks there now =/

I love the stock app, but I use Handcent JUST for the ability to customize notifications settings and such.

I downloaded ChompSMS today, just to try it out, and I liked it, EXCEPT you can't (or I couldn't figure out how to) change the conversation style to NOT be bubbles. I hate the bubbles. At least with Handcent, you can tinker with it and make it look a lot like the stock app.
