There are several user names in AF that bring a laugh or smile to me. "OldMuttonHead" is still my favorite.
As to the law suit, I don't think the Microsoft legal department is seeing an opportunity to increase revenue so much as protect their patented products.
Ironic as it is, given that company's history of overwhelming or brushing aside protected material of its competitors, it is prudent to do so as the process tends to wash out the issues for all to see.
We'd have to pay attention to the details, if disclosed, though.
Unfortunately Microsoft and Apple invest more in their legal and marketing departments than R&D which explains why products from both suck and they have to sue anyone who has a better feature. I don't buy products from either company anymore.
