HTC Desire Orange update - ruined my internet

Can anyone please help me understand. I was happy to finally get my update but now I cannot go on my favourite website.

I use my phone to access the BBC Sport Football page to view the highlights of football games. Before the update the flash worked just fine but now the site just force closes unless I turn off javascript, whhyyyy?

There are a couple of threads on the stock browser having trouble with BBC websites.

Have a look at Dolphin or Opera.

I struggled on the BBC site with the stock browser but it's fine on Dolphin.

I tried dolphin, when accessing the football highlights or a page with flash video on it the browser still force stopped

This is actually makinge want to get rid of my update as being able to watch the Celtic highlights on my phone was awesome for me

Have you tried shutting down your phone & removing the battery, replace the battery & start up your phone as this may help.
If no luck try getting flash 10.1 from the market.

Wow...just had my 2.2 update today (t-mob) and found the only site I was trying to access - bbc.co.uk/sport - was closing on me. Came here to post a query and find this thread. Phew! Thought it was just me. I'll try the suggestions here. Thanks all.

I have a DESIRE 2.1-update 1.

It is "locked" and I am with Telstra.

Just now the phone has 49.6 MB free.


How do I get the phone to update?

If I go to the settings/about phone/system software updates
it says there are no updates.

I did once get a message saying there is an update but I said "not now".
It told me, but I didn't think I had to remember it.

Now I am stuck on how to get it to update.

Anyone?

found skyfire better for flash based videos/websites..livestation sometimes doesnt play on stock/dolphin but plays always on skyfire
