I recall this from a thread last week

Well if you have had 5 different phones with the exact same issue when are you going to realize this is an engineering glitch with the product and not really a bad phone??? Get a different brand phone if it bothers you.

hey Android XTC, do you mean you replaced your Epic 4G six times?! if so, what was wrong with the previous 5 handsets?

same question goes to you iBleedBlackNgold, what was wrong with your other phones that you needed those replacements?

i'm on my 2nd Epic 4G because the Back capacitive button wasn't as responsive as the other 3 capacitive buttons. but the problem still exists and i just accepted it. maybe i should keep exchanging it until I get one that works...

thanks.

Yes SIX phones in a month. My first one the two halves of the phone were not seated together properly preventing me from installing a fitted case. The second one had a speaker issue garbled sound from the main speaker. The third the bottom home key stopped working after about 4 days. Number four had a display issue the back lighting would flicker. Number five would not update at all Sprint service couldn't even get a manual flash to work. Number six is a gem so far.

my only problem is this damn Back capacitive button not being as responsive. Sometimes I need to tap it more than once for it to respond. is yours as responsive as the other 3 capacitive buttons?

As I recall you keep returning yours for the exact same issue no? After you got 3 WITH THE SAME ISSUE you have to figure to yourself is it me or the phone? Maybe its an issue with me but not really a defect of the phone. At some point a light bulb has to go on somewhere IMO?? and you accept the phone the way its made or you move on to a different phone. I had 5 phones each with a different problem.

Yea they are not always as responsive as I would like them to be but all function equally. I had my Home key go very wonky on one of mine I would sometimes have to tap it 6 times before it responded that was very annoying. IMO these buttons need a rework by Samsung the bottom buttons on my EVO are flawless and always respond on the first touch. Even working properly the Epics are sometimes stubborn to respond and don't react as nicely as the EVOs.
