Well now it's official. It's been about a month since I received the email saying they received my return, and I haven't heard anything since. I've gotten no return, I've emailed a manager I had been dealing with multiple times, and I've gotten no replacement. They've pretty much blacked me out after effectively stealing my case and my money.

Thanks Seidio - Enjoy the BBB report.

I have an Innocase II (dark gray) and the paint is starting to spec off in one of the corners after about 45 days of use. I wrote them an email, and they said my exchange would be accepted, I just had to ship them my case, wait for up to 4 weeks processing, then they would send me a new one.

So, basically, my choices were: stay with the case that I enjoy, but is starting to wear a bit, go naked for a month and take my chances with a toddler that loves to play MiniSquadron (great game) on my phone, or buy another case while I wait for the Innocase to come back, which is pretty stupid, because I dont need a bunch of covers.

I decided to stick it out with the one I got, but I really think that's a dumb move on them. They really should have it work where they take your CC#, ship you a case, and if the return isnt received within 30 days or something, bill your CC for a new case.

While I love everything about the design of the Innocase, I dont love the quality or customer service I have received thus far...

Can you file a dispute with your credit card company? Have you tried calling them directly?

Well see that's the funny thing, they USED to send the customer a case first, but then such a HUGE volume of customers started having issues that they just couldn't keep up with it anymore. They are now trying to discourage people from returning their phones in hopes that they can keep some of their profit on these ridiculously overpriced, ridiculously under-tested piece of trash.

This company is miserable, doesn't give a **** about their customers, and sells miserable products. End of story.

I guess it's worth a shot, I bought the product maybe 2 or 3 months ago, so I assumed it would be too late.

My mistake for expect a company to take care of their customers.

I agree that the cases are over priced, but I am very happy with my experience this far. Customer service is poor with most companies.

I had 3 that all had major issues, as I know many others on here had similar experiences. Most companies don't produce products that fail on such a massive scale. That's the real difference between Seidio and other companies, the significant volume of their failures.

I have owned 2 seidio cases for my inc, 2 for my storm 1 on my storm 2 and all have be excellent. There is no other company that i have ever liked the cases they produce. I would never hesitate to recommend a seidio case.

I have owned 3 different cases from Seidio and the Active is the first one that hasn't scratched my phone. Their response is either, "this is the first time we have heard of this problem" or "we haven't been able to reproduce the problem in our testing facility"...

It's a difficult decision because they come out with their cases so much quicker than the other companies. But obviously, their quality lacks and customer service lack.

The corners of my case are also peeling on the Active, but since it's black, I don't worry too much about it.

Funny, because other than their deceitful advertising practices, the main reason I didn't order a Seidio case is because I read over, and over, and over, that they scratch the phones they "protect." It's not 100% of the time, but I saw it far more than I cared to for a product I was considering purchasing. And it's not just the Incredible. If you Google it, you'll see people with all phones have experienced scratching.

Eh, I got the High Gloss Silicone case from Verizon with my Incredible before the official release for a mere $12 and it's been perfect. Protects my phone, doesn't scratch it, hardly adds weight, and it fits perfectly. I also grabbed a $15 HTC 1500 battery. So I got a case, a battery, and a beer for less than the Seidio case alone would've cost.

Just like any other company selling Chinese-made garbage cell phone accessories. The difference is Seidio probably has at least a degree higher quality control than the typical eBay seller and much better packaging.

There's so much shady imported shit for sale it makes my head spin... Cell phone cases that don't quite fit right, batteries that can't hold a charge, silicone jelly skins that tear, cloudy screen protectors, etc.

The only way to make it stop is to just not buy from these operations.

I had the same thing happen. They were happy to replace the first two piece of crap cases but then on the third one, they decided I could ship the case back to them and wait 4-6 weeks for a replacement. I decided that rather than go through all that and get the same low-quality case, I would just keep what I had and buy a skin for my phone. The tiny bit of extra thickness helps the case fit better and protects the phone from the case... Pretty ironic.
