Help Android Market

i tried every different kind of fix (clear various caches and data, restart, unmount sd card etc) and none of them worked. yesterday after i'd given up it randomly resolved itself. weird

I tried most things and problem still existed.... went to the internet app, logged out of google and logged back in, market has worked since!!!:)

This is seriously doing my head in, I want to download apps but can't...

Tried signing in and out of talk.. no luck
Tried signing in and out of Google UK Homepage... no luck
Tried clearing Cache/Force Stop etc.. no luck
Tried turning phone on and off.... no luck

Check out HTC - Support There is new firmware (1.32.405.3) out today, it doesn't say anything about the market problems, but it might help.

Still not working :(

JUst noticed, I have been posting in the wrong forum. Thought I was in desire. I guess this issue affects all android users though

Same same, Im on a Magic but I guess this is not a phone specific issue.

Hard reset - that is restore factory settings, right? So lose all the aps I already have and the data stored on them? Not tempting.

The irony of all this is the thing I wanted to download when i first noticed I had a problem was MyBackup Pro.

I could actually picture myself abandoning Android over this. I am due an upgrade before the end of the year and was going to go for an DHD or a Desire but given how widespread a problem this is I will have to consider my options. No point in upgrading to another phone that is going to give me all this same aggravation all over again - and be locked into a contract for several years.
