Just downloaded the Update, now you can use speakerphone or earpiece to listen to voicemails.

Also, it works even if you are on wifi, so no more annoying error messages while using wifi. It tempararily activates 3G to get your voicemails while you are on wifi.

It works great so far.

This brings up another question. I found out about the update because I just happened to be in the market and looked at my downloads.

Is there any way to be notified that an App has an update to download?

On my Ipod Touch, it puts a little number on the appstore icon.

PROBLEM!!

Visual Voicemail Update worked great until I power cycled my phone!

After it comes back on the App is corrupted and the ICON is gone. When I try to run I get an error.

I reinstalled it and it started working ok again. I rebooted as a test and same result! It corrupts on reboot.

anyone else seeing this?

no, I just tried a reboot after I updated the Visual VM app, and I am still able to access it.

Crap, thanks for trying. I'm guessing some other app I downloaded is affecting it?

When it gets corrupted, the VVM Icon turns grey. When I click the icon it partly opens and says "Cannot access your mailbox"

Under Application settings VVM is then called "Storage Settings" for some reason. The App Renames itself.

I uninstall "Storage Settings" and then VVM Icon comes back. It then gives me the opportunity to Upgrade to the latest VVM app once again. I click upgrade and it installs fine.

Reboot the phone and im back at square one.

Today ...........

Now have voice to text, its 1.99 there after per month, googlevoice was what Sprint told us to use LOL FREE. other stuff I noticed..........

Must reboot, it's not madatory itssomething we must do before we jump to a conclusion.

I did not like aving to mandatory update, eiter you do it or live with the notification on the top. you can delete back by going into Menu/setting/manage app. voicemail uninstall.
For I, had to reboot all looks good, icon/widget is currupted and fixed by a reboot.

Will one use voice to text, just use a app that allows you to send sound on SMS its the same and does not cost against AIrtime pone usage, just data.

Free comes with Perks, and the perk is using what Sprint should offer Free voice to text App. a law that we all must be Handsfree.
