Don't use a monitoring widget/app. Seriosuly. It was great the first week or so of having my phone so I knew how to gauge it. But seriously, if you're obsessing over your battery, and watching it all day, it's going to seem like it drains really fast.

I removed the widget yesterday. I've been off my charger a good 45 minutes. My widget probably would have said i was already at 80%...which would make me seem like WTF.

Now I'm just looking at my little bar..which is full green. 3g has been on the whole time.

So, my tip? Can the widget, and just try using your phone without obsessing over the battery.

There are a couple of variables I notices in battery complaints. At first the battery life is atrocious but it gets better as you charge it a couple of times. I honestly think it's due to the fact that you quit playing with the phone as much after the first few days! Monitoring the widgets was one of those changes for me that I quit messing with after the novelty wore off. Your thoughts?

I agree...especially w/ the part about not messing w/ the phone as much after the first few days. You're placing less demand on the battery, not jumping through screens as much, etc...
