[RELEASED] The 4.3 inch "Thunderbolt" aka "Mecha" aka "Incredible HD" from HTC...beyond coming soon!

Does anyone here actually live in a city that is on Verizon's list of cities that offer 4G services?

I know I don't. The closest 4G city to me is Pittsburgh which is 2 and a half hours from me. It will probably be around a year or so until I actually get the 4G towers in my area. Until then, 3G is just fine with me. I get fast speeds where I live.

Does anyone know the battery size of this one? Most websites are calling this phone the US version of the Desire HD. I know the Desire HD only has a 1230 mAh battery and every review I have seen for that phone claims that it has an abysmal battery life (on par or even worse than the Droid Incredible's.

I hope that is not the case for the Incredible HD. Battery life is extremely important to me. I do not want to have to inconvenience myself by having to carry a charger and/or an extra battery around with me. Neither do I want to spend money on an extended battery. My Droid X has an excellent battery that lasts me through the day and then some. I am hoping this phone can keep up with my Droid X in terms of call and picture/video quality and battery life.

This phone looks pretty sweet. It might just be the phone that can compete with the Evo. Love my Evo, hate Sprint (Except for their pricing). I'll be taking a look at this on release day and see what I think. Would be awesome if it was able to use www.htcsense.com.

2 weeks to go- Pick one up, put it on a 1 year contract, that way I can flip into something different when LTE is available in my area.

I live in a LTE area, but again don't really care about 4g as I use wifi . Also after checking out my friends EVO (which I loved) I noticed that the 4g was one of the HUGE battery drainers. Went to a Nuggets game with him I had my Incredible unpluged for about 10hrs and was at 65% he had his unplugged for 6hrs and was at 50% by the end of the nuggets game I was at 59% his was at 7% . Mainly because it seemed that he was jumping from 4g to 3g most the time I was looking at it. While mine had a solid full bars of 3g

So that's a definet Knock on 4g. Also locked bootloader is not cool but it looks like that might be the way these phones are going

Are we super duper sure a non-LTE Incredible HD is shipping? I am wondering if rumor has menifested into "fact". VZW engineers have already stated there is an LTE device, but it is expected in late Q1 2011.

Seems odd to not hear much about this device, no FCC leak, and the fact that having two versions would be odd. Not to mention the Droid X is still selling well and VZW has other devices coming out that HAVE been announced.

Though it would be super cool to have a 4.3" version of the Inc (give my son the 3.7"), it all seems on assumptions of assumptions. Not to mention for a device releasing in less than two weeks, there is far less info than even the original Inc had.

I suggest we may not see a non LTE version.

Feel free to shoot down my doubt :)

What if the device is really an early test build for the LTE device next year? March is not that far away.

My spidey senses are not buying 11/23, so a nice surprise if pans out :)
