Battery 15% or less red blinking light

I wish you could turn this off too, or that it would at least alternate green and red when you have notifications and battery at that level.

Yeah, for a company that is so good at so many things, this was a boneheaded move. Your notification LED is essentially worthless once your phone is at 15% battery or less. It's highly irritating.

I do understand the fear of change and not wanting to turn ur $400 phone into a brick, but that is very unlikely and only happens when doing before reading.

There is no downside to rooting. Try before you bash it.

I'd rather have a rooted Droid Eris, than a non-rooted Incredible, IMHO.

No, it can happen to ANYBODY. It's still unlikely, but it's possible. Not to mention the DEFINITE downside of losing your warranty (again, they probably won't notice, but if they do Your going to be out $500+).

For me, the risk of bricking my phone (however small that risk is) would not be worth it to change the notification light.

And unless you're willing to PERSONALLY fix anybody's phone that gets bricked, stop pushing it so hard. Rooting isn't that big of a deal, but don't ignore the downsides.

I never bashed rooting or even said I was against it. I simply stated I wasn't rooted. I'm perfectly happy with my Inc being stock. I had a rooted Eris & your statement & persistent to persuade me to root is foolish. I'm glad you're happy with your rooted Inc but at this time there's no reason for me to root my perfectly fine working Inc.

I'm not trying to pursuade anything I was just telling my two cents. I see now I should have kept them to myself. Didn't mean to offend any one here.

and just for the record I wasn't trying to tell someone to root for a blinking light, I always tell people to do at least a couple weeks of research before rooting. I dind't realize it was gunna get turned the wrong way. I liked my rooted Droid Eris. Everyone is different and I wasn't saying any one is right or wrong.
