Root Root gone wrong! Help!

So I got my phone rooted today, and the Virus ROM installed on it. All was fine until I tested out the alarm clock. When I did that I noticed there is no way to turn the damn thing off, so i rebooted the phone, as stated in the xda forums. Then when the phone turned back on I got a pop up saying something about a force close, and a few seconds later another one. I didn't think much of this, so I went to my apps to download another alarm clock from the market, and notice the android market is missing, as well as the rom manager and everything else downloaded and installed with the root. Please help me.. I am almost in tears, it's late and i have to wake up to go to work soon. fml

My wifes phone did the same thing. All of her apps were gone. I booted into recovery and wiped cache and dalvik cache and that fixed it
