Why Did You Buy the Tab ?

I am probably the biggest geek out of all my friends and this is a good device to go hand in hand with my Captivate. My captivate lasts through the day now since I do most of my browsing on the Tab. My vision is also getting a bit iffy and the Tab helps out in that department too. It really is a perfect size to hold in one hand and type in the other, but just big enough to read a book and browse the internet comfortably.

I have a bigger issue. I bought not one, but two! I bought both a Sprint and an ATT version. I was going to decide between them and take one back, however, I want to keep both of them!

I like the styling of the Sprint (and the fact that I get excellent coverage at work) and I like the plan flexibility of the ATT version as well as the built in memory.

Every time I decide which one to keep, I cannot get rid of the other one.

Anyone else keeping 2? Maybe that is a little excessive?

I actually bought mine because i thought it would solve all my problems... and it did :D

I'm always on the go and used to drag backpack around with me filled with all my sh*t...

Now I can make phone calls,
write emails,
use the internet,
schedule appointments,
give a powerpoint,
watch a movie,
read a newspaper, book or magazine,
listen to the radio, mp3's or stream music,
have a navi for my car,
etc, etc...

and all i have to take is my galaxy tab! (ok... the charger is also useful on busy days  )

One could argue that this was already possible with some smartphones and i did try that, but for me the screens were just to small to be practical. So for my the seven inches were are most revolutionary. Believe it or not (ladies) sometimes seven inch is better then 10 ;)

EDIT: spellingcheck :)

I have it because it is much more readable than my Desire screen, I also just use wifi because I will not pay the AT&T ripoff prices for tab data but when I am away from a hotspot, I just create one with my Desire and use the $15.00 unlimited data on my phone that I have had for, four years and I get the advantage of a larger screen!!! Just hate putting out that much cash to AT&T but then again my Desire was just as expensive so it is a wash either way!!!
