Battery Life On My X10

Yesterday I got 9 hours on a full charge. last night I turned airplane mode on. It had about a 13 hour charge. I removed it from the charger and it only showed 94%. It lasted from 8am to 8:30pm ish... That's 12 1/2 hours. This sucks. I love the phone but something has to be done about this.

Thanks for listening

You may want to try this:

turn of "background data". It has worked for me. Go to settings, Data Synchronisation, Google Sync, And turn off "background data. It works well! even a message appears once you untick it. Saying:

"disabling background data saves battery and lowers data usage. Some applications may still use background data connection"

And battery life has improved big time.

But android market needs this to work. But when you go into the market, it tells you that it needs to be turned on, but once you have finished in the market, Just turn it back of again!

Hope this helps

ok so, indeed, if you turn all of this off ( in my experience) you will get a 4 and a half day battery ...is tested on my experia x10...that means, sync anly when is needed just to check if something new is happened on my email or msg, wifi turned off, data turned off, using juice deffender, juice plotter, setcpu, battery widget (one of them....) ....i had an issue with my xperia a few days ago and now my battery after 16 hours is tellin' me that i still have 45%...will see in the next day. Anyway you can improve your life battery , my higher rate was 4 and a half days....

Old post ressurection!

Yeah... it depend widely on how you use your phone...on 2.1 on idle (few calls, texts, market browsing and about an hour of internet browsing and GPS) the phone can last me about a day and half (maybe 2). But on hardcore days (games (ALOT), internet, downloads, texts and calls) my worst case is it went from 94% to 8% in about 3 hours.

I had the same problem as all of you. I used to get about 8 hours off my battery, but after I installed the ultimatejuice app, turned down screen brightness to about 70% and followed the suggestions posted in post #7, I now get about 18 hours out of my phone. I don't do alot of web surfing andy only update when I need it. I have 2.1 so i think there's somethin seriously wrong here. Could my battery be damaged???
