Root Problems/Questions w/ Cognition

1. When i use advanced task killer, it shows my memory hovering around 100, when it used to be 120 after the lag fix without cognition

2. sometimes the status bar gets stuck and doesnt come down?

3. When i exit out of apps and then use ATK, i expect it to be returned to the original state. So lets say i open the browser on nfl.com which is the homepage, and then go to espn. if i exit out of the browser and then use ATK, then the browser should open nfl.com, not espn

4. any way to make hulu work?

5. the app facebook sync is gone, and i liked having profile pics as contact icons

6. any way to make nfl.com videos work?

other than these things, its been really good

1. ATK is no longer needed with Froyo since it has a buildin task killer.

2. I don't have that issue with cognitions latest build.

but then how do u end tasks quickly? it would suck to go to task manager each time and have to end them...

hold the home button. but advance task killer isnt necessary. ive been running cognition or perception for a month now without either one of them and i can easily get over 24 hours without ever opening a task killer. now some things i open the built in one for, like some games dont shut off when i exit so i close it using task manager

yeah holding the home button, but thats pretty slow compared to the ATK widget...is there anything faster?

Your problem(s) is you're using ATK with Froyo. Uninstall that and I bet half your problems disappear.

Well, something is running in the background and using your CPU. Use a "system info" type app to see what's sucking up your CPU. There are tons.

Are there any other bugs with cognition? Like I thought I read somewhere that there was a problem with multi media messages. is that true? Also what differences are there vs. the original captivate rom? can you still use swype?
