New headphones

I was thinking of getting new headphones since my JVC Gumy ones broke recently. I'm used to earbuds and over the ear headphones but I haven't really used in ear ones.

So far I've narrowed it down to V-Moda Bass Freq:
v-moda bass freq
and
V-Moda Vibe:
Vibe

There are 3 types of Vibe: Vibe, Vibe II and Vibe Duo but I'm not really sure what all the differences are between them.

I listen to a lot of Hip-Hop and from what I've read online V-Moda has very good bass performance but not so good mids and highs so if anybody has used them and can give me their opinion, ex: sound, durability, comfortability.., that would be very helpful

I actually heard that Vibe had better base. Honestly I would just splurge and never have to buy earphones again. Sennheiser ie8, or UE Triple Fi10. Have you checked out Head-fi forums? They always have extensive reviews on ear and head phones.

You can get the UE pair for under $200 because amazon ran a deal where they were like 150$ and people just bought them all up to resell...

If you are serious about high quality sound, once you use one of the top tier earphones everything else sounds so bad... =(

Thanks but I'm not really trying to spend more than $100 on headphones right now.

I know your not interested in spending more than a hindred but a good pair of sennheisur or shure headphones and your set for years to come, if had my shure for of 5 years now.
although I do have a pair or 50$ klipsch headphones (i believe the image 4) that I take with me places where im owrried about losing my headphones. and they are decent, impressive for the price.

I would check head fi then and just search the two pairs you were looking at. I am pretty sure I have read the Vibe are a much better pair.

I've just ordered the vibes, I'm gonna try them out n see.

I'll probably buy high end ones when I get enough money.
