Updating the Android

Hi im new here and i dont know if this post would go here so sorry if it doesnt, i would just like to know : I am in Canada and have heard about this "cupcake update" thing, when it comes out where will i be able to get it and how will i put it on my g1? Thanks alot.

It is not out yet but soon and it will be OTA (Over the air) meaning one day your phone will have a pop up screen asking if you wish to proceed with the upgrade... as far as the features or info on it goes check here: http://source.android.com/roadmap/cupcake

I'm sure us wacky dev phone users will have to do something different. Has that been covered either?

I'm, sadly, in Alaska (no T-Mobile up here) so my only option was a dev phone. I'm guessing there may end up being some sort of updater we can load onto it and run manually.
