Camera Issues

So I was playing with the camera on this guy and I keep getting crappy photos... the thing is that what I see on screen as it freezes when taking a shot looks better than the actual shot when shown for review. The actual shot ends up looking fuzzier and muddier.

Any idea what the issue is? Is it just because the preview is lower res than the actual picture or something?

No cell phone camera is as good as a true camera. It takes much more time for it to gather light. Therefore, you need to be EXTRA stable while it takes the shot and have LOTS of light.

IMO, the two best are light your subject well and keep still.

This is logical, but I don't understand why the freeze frame looks better than the actual picture. This leads me to believe its related to a post processing setting.

Edit: I stand somewhat corrected, or at least confused... the above situations involved me taking photos using the Facebook App... strangely the photos taken via the camera when launched from the camera button look much better. I wonder why this is since the Facebook app for all intents and purposes is using the phone's default camera software and it's same settings.

Can't say I've noticed what you're describing. I use SnapPhoto Pro and I think I get pretty decent results.
