aTrackDog down until about 2/15

does it matter? i've never used the app but it seems to me it'll become obsolete once the RC33 firmware is out there since then the market will then tell you when apps need updated.

just manually installed the rc33 and you are correct. atrackdog is now obsolete. go into my downloads and it lets you know if theres an update. freaking awesome.

The market told you originally but was a pain to use ... Tha aTrackDog is a very well done app and will still be better than what the Market will have ...

You haven't used the app so I can understand you dont have a basis from which to make a judgement.

actually with the update it is very easy to see if your app needs to be updated. when you go into my downloads it will saw "update available" next to your downloaded app. and others will say " installed".

I didn't download atrack until the market stopped updating a few weeks ago. I would hardly call it a pain, in both situations you still have to open something and still have to make a few clicks before you find out what apps have an update, and both require you to update each app individually. Atrack has a slightly better UI, but the experience, process, and end result are the same.

And speaking of atrack, I've had no delays in it being able to pull updates, it pulled 4 this morning when I got up.

There are just a few things I like about aTrackDog...

1.) All the Apps needing updates are at the very top ... no going down list ...
2.) You can also update 3rd part apps (not available in the market)
3.) If you like a version and dont want futher changes ... you can mark the app so it is not checked for updates.
4.) Or you can mark special apps to just be skipped ...
5.) and you can elect to uninstall an app as well ... no need to go to a different system utility ....

!!! And the Best thing is their server is back online YEA !!!! :))

Yes, no scrolling because this - [wiggling finger slightly] is such a hardship.

5.) and you can elect to uninstall an app as well ... no need to go to a different system utility .... But you still have to open something, whether it's the market, or atrack to uninstall the app.
